A Bright, Functional Garage Built for Everyday Use 

The Goal: Upgrade the Interior of an Old, Frustrating Garage

The Stevensons’ garage had long been a source of frustration. The walls were covered with drywall, which repeatedly peeled and required constant repainting. Bruce explained, “We were so frustrated with the drywall. The paint peeling—we’d repaint, and not long after, it was peeling again.” 

They wanted a garage that was practical, durable, and visually appealing—somewhere everything could stay clean and bright, and where they could enjoy the space rather than dread it. 

The Challenge: Peeling Walls, Maintenance, and Lack of Organization

Before Trusscore, the Stevensons faced walls that couldn’t handle moisture, impacts, or tool storage without damage. Maintaining the garage was time-consuming, and the space didn’t feel bright or inviting.  

Bruce recalled noticing a garage outside Bellwood with a different type of wall panel. “I said, ‘What is this?’ So eventually we did some research and found out it was a product called Trusscore, and I said, ‘That’d be great in ours.’ I kept saying, ‘We got to get that Trusscore.’ Well, it took me a few years, and we finally got it done.” 

The Outcome: A Garage That Stays Bright, Clean, and Functional

The finished garage is not only visually appealing but also easy to maintain. “Way cleaner, everything stays organized. It stays nice and clean all the time,” Tammy said.

The Stevensons have already been sharing their experience with friends. Tammy explained, “My daughter and her husband have it in Port Elgin. They have it in their garage as well.” Bruce added, “They put it in because we were talking about it.” Tammy concluded, “We’re spreading the word, and we’re gonna be spreading it more.” 

When Bryan asked if they would recommend Trusscore, Bruce’s answer was emphatic: “Oh definitely. We’ve done that.”
