Trusscore products are made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is a thermoplastic synthetic polymer.

Trusscore products are available in white and gray. We also offer a variety of trims to finish your project and  meet all your project needs. For more information about the types of trims we offer, visit our Trims page.

Trusscore products are considered premium because they're strong, versatile, sustainable, designed to outlast the buildings they're installed in, and are 100% recyclable (in addition to several other key benefits you may not know about). 

Trusscore products are designed to outlive buildings they're installed in, so there's no worry about having to replace them over time.

Trusscore offers premium products that are PVC based and will likely outlive the building it’s installed in. A 20 x 20 garage outfitted with Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard and Trusscore SlatWall panels can range from $3000 - $5000, but the good news is that once you install it the first time, it will be the last. Trusscore products are proudly manufactured in North America. Our manufacturing facilities are in Palmerston, Ontario, and Calgary, Alberta.


The acoustic performance of Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard is very similar to conventional products like drywall, with our panels demonstrating similar sound absorption and sound blocking performance as ½” and 5/8” drywall when installed on wall and ceiling assemblies:

  • Sound absorption — or the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) — is a measure of how much sound a material can absorb to reduce the amount of noise within a room. The NRC performance of Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard is estimated to be 0.15 (i.e., 15% of sound is absorbed), and drywall's performance is also 0.15.
  • Sound blocking — or the Sound Transmission Class (STC) — is a measure of how well a material can block sound from passing through it into an adjacent space. A material’s STC reflects a sound’s decibel reduction from the space where the sound originates to the adjacent space. When installed on studs or joists, Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard has an estimated STC value of 30 to 35 (i.e., it reduces 30 to 35 decibels of sound), which is similar to the sound blocking performance of single-layer drywall.

Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard is available in 8', 10', 12', 14', 16', and 20' panels.  Trusscore SlatWall is  available in 8' panels.

Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard is compliant with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). We also meet Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) requirements.

Trusscore® Wall&CeilingBoard™ panels come in a smooth, clean finish that is scratch, dent, and damage resistant, which means they should never require painting like traditional drywall. However, we understand that sometimes people want a change and will decide to paint their Wall&CeilingBoard to update or refresh their room’s look.

Yes, you can paint Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard panels. Before adding a first coat, download our Painting Guidelines document to make sure you get the best results.

Trusscore SlatWall holds up to 75 pounds per square foot, meaning you can safely hang bikes, plants, gardening tools, power tools, and much more on it. 

Trusscore offers six different accessory options including baskets, shelves, and hooks, but any standard 3" slatwall accessory is compatible with Trusscore SlatWall.

Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard has a "Class A" fire rating with a flame spread index of 10 and smoke developed index of 380. Our panels must be installed over a fire-rated wall or ceiling assembly if it's been specified by the building's code. Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard, RibCore, and NorLock have been tested and are all low VOC compliant, which means they're safe to use in indoor spaces.

Our products aren't intended to contribute to the R value of an assembly and, as a result, shouldn't be used in R value calculations.

No, building code requires a thermal barrier surround plastic foam insulation. Ensure a suitable barrier is in place before applying Wall&CeilingBoard or SlatWall.

You can find installation guides for Trusscore products on our Installation Help page. Each guide will explain the step-by-step installation process for the specific product you're working with.

Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard installs four times faster than drywall. While drywall may take days, Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard may only take a few hours to install depending on the size of the room.

To install most Trusscore products, you'll need a power saw, drill, tape measure, tin snips, putty knife, and silicone sealant (in wet environments only). However, some products will require a few additional or different tools. Yes, Trusscore products can be installed and used in cold temperatures and weather. Whenever installing our products, it’s important to acclimatize the product for at least 24 hours. If installing in cold temperature, review and follow our Cold Temperature Installation Guidelines for best results. While we advise a maximum operating temperature of 50°C or 122°F, we don't have a minimum temperature recommendation. 

If you're using Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard in a high-moisture environment, we recommend installing the panels vertically. In these environments, we also recommend applying a bead of silicone inside the grooved end of the panel and inside the entire length of each trim piece.

If you're looking to organize your space, we recommend using Trusscore SlatWall which integrates seamlessly with our Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard panels. We offer a wide range of SlatWall accessories including hooks, baskets, and shelves that snap into place with ease. 

If Trusscore SlatWall doesn’t meet your needs or you’ve already installed Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard and have to mount or fasten items to the product, keep this advice in mind: 

  • When hanging an item directly on a Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard panel, items should never be directly fastened without back-support.
  • When hanging items lightweight items (i.e., less than 30 pounds) directly from Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard, we recommend using adhesive hooks such as Command™ Hooks or using spring toggle bolt kits. 
  • Moderate weight items should be fastened directly to the supporting structure of the wall or ceiling through Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard. Mounting holes should be slightly oversized to accommodate expansion and contraction of the product.
  • Heavyweight items should be mounted directly to the supporting structure to avoid crushing your Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard panels. We recommend cutting out Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard from the mounting area. 

Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard can be installed with any readily available wood (corrosion-resistant) screws with a minimum head diameter of 3/8”, but we recommend different types of screws for different wall assemblies:

Wood #10 X 1-1/4” Truss or Pancake Head
Concrete 3/16” x 1-1/4” Flathead screws
Metal Studs Self-tapping #10 X 1-1/4” Truss or Pancake Head

Stainless steel screws are only required for highly corrosive or moist environments. 

We recommend using one fastener or screw per two square feet of space when installing Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard.

Cutting Panels 

As a simple method of eliminating cracking or chipping Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard and SlatWall, installing your saw blade in the reverse direction is recommended. Coarse-toothed blades should be avoided for best results. Alternatively, concrete/ masonry blades can be used. For all blades, apply smooth even pressure to the product when completing the cut.

In cold weather, move the saw through the material slowly to prevent chipping or cracking. Performing a test cut will allow you to confirm the performance of your cutting tool without impacting your project. 



If holes are required for things like electrical boxes, lights, taps, etc., it is recommended to use a jigsaw, oscillating saw or hole saw to cut out the shape. Here are some widely available options we recommend

Square cut-outs should be made following the steps below.  

1. Measure the location of the opening on the wall.  

2. Mark the perimeter of your opening on the panel.  

3. Drill a 1/2” hole in the corner of the required opening.  

Insert the blade into the hole and proceed to cut out along your marked lines. If performing this cut after the panel has been installed, ensure the space behind the area to be cut is free of obstructions, electrical wires, plumbing or any other object. 

Maintenance and Care

Yes! Trusscore high strength PVC products are very durable in almost any condition and can be pressure washed.

Trusscore products have a smooth and non-porous surface which makes it resistant to chemicals. You can wipe down Trusscore products with normal household cleaning products and keep them looking as good as the day they were installed.


Yes! Trusscore products are 100% recyclable. While some municipalities don't collect PVC-based products, we encourage you to return large quantities of Trusscore to one of our facilities to be recycled.
