A wall installer and a PSP came together to put local Canadian artists on display.

WESTMOUNT SIGNS IN Ontario, Canada, completed a local art project in partnership with Trusscore, a wall and ceiling board installation company that wanted to enhance the walls they placed along Kitchener, Ontario’s roads and walkways. Trusscore came to Westmount Signs with the need for 2000 square feet of graphics that would become a part of downtown Kitchener’s Business Improvement Area Art Walk, an art program designed to represent artists throughout Canada. To print the job, the PSP used its Roland DG Truevis VG2 Series wide-format digital printer/cutter onto Drytac Polar Premium Air White Gloss PB Self-Adhesive Vinyl with Interlam Pro Anti-Graffiti Pressure Sensitive Overlaminating Films. The vibrant wall graphics enhanced the community and Trusscore employees’ commutes to work.

  • ADAPTABLE  The project was installed in the early winter, which meant dealing with frigid Canadian temperatures and constant moisture.
  • INTENTIONAL Westmount Signs and Trusscore committed to beautifying an often overlooked section of Kitchener.
  • PRECISE The PSP had to make sure every inch of the printed graphics was color matched to the local artist’s exact specifications.
