We manufacture a range of PVC-based wall panel products for residential, commercial, and agriculture applications.  Sustainable Building Design

The building sector generates nearly 40% of the annual global greenhouse gas emissions. With global building stock continuing to rise and expected to double in area over the next 40 years, we face a challenging issue. How to construct and operate buildings that reduce environmental impacts. Otherwise, we will continue to see the impact the building sector has on the environment continue to rise. 

 Recycle and Reuse

As part of our focus on continuous innovation, Trusscore leverages advancements in material science to improve the performance and environmental impact of our products.

An estimated 75% of drywall ends up in landfills, where it makes up 25% to 40% of the national solid waste stream. Once drywall reaches the landfill, it decomposes to produce hydrogen sulfide gas and leachate chemicals like sulfates.

 Unlike drywall, Trusscore products have a service life of up to 100 years and are 100% recyclable. While we aim to reduce material waste by offering custom product sizes, Trusscore off-cuts and excess material can be recycled up to six or seven times to make new PVC-based building materials. To make recycling Trusscore easy for our customers, we offer a full circle recycling program in partnership with Return Polymers and directly through our manufacturing facilities.

Zero Production Waste

By incorporating recycled material in our products and our commitment to using raw materials with low environmental impact, we are developing more sustainable building products.

In our productions process, we recycle all production waste internally or externally and have implemented an innovative hot knife cutting technology that reduces waste generated.

We have also made investments to reduce the amount of water used in our production process by investing in a closed-loop water recirculation system that allowed Trusscore to recycle 99% of the water used in our production process in 2020.

The superior performance and extended lifespan of our products delivers a 55% lower total cost of ownership compared to alternatives like drywall attributed to reduced labor and lower maintenance and operational costs.
